Default Gas charged lift support

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I just purchased 2x of the above. My old ones are shot and looking at this thing, I have no idea how to actually take the old ones off and put the new supports on. Is there a tutorial on this or could someone please shed some light for me on how to do this? Thanks in advance for any help.

I assume you're talking about struts for the back glass, but do you have the liftgate or tailgate model?

Open the glass and support it.
On the top end of the strut, take a screwdriver and pry off the retaining clip and slide out the retaining pin.
On the bottom end of the strut, pry off the retaining clip and pry off the lower end from the ballstud.
Installation is the reverse.
