goes in 4wd but not out until you cut truck off

2000 blazer lt goes in 4wd but wont go out until you cut truck off and.back on...what could cause this?

Vacuum lines not connected correctly at the transfer case vacuum switch, or a faulty vacuum switch.

This always happens when the two vacuum lines at the firewall solenoid are hooked up backwards, swap the vacuum hoses and recheck.

Also, There is a vent for the axle actuator built in to one of the ports of the solenoid, if it is hooked up backwards or the vent is plugged, this symptom can happen.
