When you changed icm did it come with a small packet of heat sink grease. I seem to remember a ten page thread on a p300 that finally ended with the persons module not coming with the grease. It transfers the heat to the heat sink. This guy tossed every thing but his kids at it and came down to that. Something missing from a box and 3.49 from Radio Shack.

make sure the distrib. is in time and not a tooth off. check to see if timing between crank and cam right and not slipped.

i went through the trouble shooting link u posted for p0300 and checked for all the items listed contaminated fuel, foulded or damaged spark plugs, damaged distributor cap, restricted exhaust. The only ones i havent check are the vcm grounds and the EGR valve and idea how i can check the grounds or the location of them? and i also double checked the installation of the distributor assembly and all is well with that.
