Looks to me like you are missing the hose that goes to the accumulator in the wheel well.

The black side of the check valve goes to manifold vacuum. The 90 degree white fitting goes to the transfer case vacuum switch. The straight through white fitting goes to a Tee that should be dangling close by. On it there should be a short, (2") vacuum line that goes to another Tee. One side of the Tee goes to the vacuum reservoir in the left fender, just rearward of the ABS unit. The other side of the Tee goes to the HVAC system in the dash to operate the vacuum doors.

Alright Thanks. I will check all hoses and replace the rotten hoses when weather gets warmer.

Thanks to all you guys. Your photos and descriptions of the vacuum hoses also helped my problem. I had pulled the vacuum hose from the manifold to replace it and in doing so I pulled the hose to the accumulator tank off, I didn't know at the time what or where the hose went to as I could not see any connection. BUT reading you guys description and directions, plus the photo, I was able to find and reattach the hose.
love this forum
Thanks, Mel
