Timing Disable Wire Connection

Timing Disable Wire Connection
1995 GMC Jimmy SLT 4.3 L Vortek 4WD
Where do I find the "Timing Disable" wire connection that is unconnected / reconnected when resetting timing back to 0 degrees or when a distributor has been changed or other timing related maintenance / repair has been done.
Black - Tan wire - from the documentation which I have.
I just can't find it.
The locations suggested / dealer information printout sheet at one dealership did not pan out.
Any help would be appreciated.

1995 used 2 different computer control systems so yours may or may not have the EST, (Electronic Spark Timing) wire. If the spark plug wires attach vertically to the distributor cap, the EST wire is located behind the top edge of the carpet on the passenger side, under the dash. It's a tan wire with a black stripe with a black plastic connector. If the spark plug wires attach to the cap horizontally, yours does not have the EST wire.
