Question where can I find the fasteners for oil pan skid plate?

Just bought 96 S10 4dr. Looking for oil pan skid plate fasteners that hang from the upper control arms. I have limited salvage yard options . Thanks for the help in advance.

Call the dealership and get the specs and price. Then look around for them at your local hardware stores for a better price.

Question Yes my ignorance abounds.

The independent suspension knuckle where the back of the oil pan skid plate mounts? Anybody have a picture of the bracket or bolt assembly?

sorry to render this from the dead, but who ever decided to put in a bolt that is about two threads to long to be able easily get out without hitting the oil pan needs to be tortured lol (i know i know you cant really put a shorter bolt in..)
Dumb question but, do you have to take the weight off the front end to be able to take those bolts out? or is it safe to do it with the front end on the ground.

yeah i imagine ill use the ones i got from the 2000 because mine is a 97 and its pretty much the same underneath. the brackets are almost the same, just the ones from the first gen are a little shorter. im pretty sure shipping for you will be less than the 35$ it costs for them new, i live in washington so just let me know :P
