wiring 1997 jimmy battery block

Default wiring 1997 jimmy battery block

Hi am new here, looking for the wiring of the battery block for my son in law,His 1997 Jimmy won't start and he found a couple of wires broken off what he calls the battery block. He got another block, but can't remember where all the wires go, Can anyone help with this.

Battery block? Can you post a picture of it? I have schematics available, but really need to know what you're dealing with

I asked for a picture from him and will post it when I get it.But he is calling it a battery junction box and no it has no fuses it just has wires going to it.

Hard to tell for sure from the image but, from what I can see, the junction block doesn't appear to be original equipment. Is it possible to post another image taken a little closer, with more detail?

Here is a close up hope this helps . And he tells me it was ordered from GM so should be original

Much better image, thanks. The inline fuse holder is definitely aftermarket, along with the yellow crimp connectors and eyelet terminals. Probably for an aftermarket, or dealer installed security system of some sort. In your first post you mentioned it won't start, does that mean the starter does not engage or the starter engages and the engine will not run?

Before he changed the block it would turn over and not start. He saw some or at least one broken wire on this block which was all corroded. He decided to change the block but didn't mark the wires so all I want at this point is a pic of where the wires go.And as mentioned before he did buy it at the GM dealer. The ends on the wires were replaced by him because of the corrision.
