Alright guys so I just bought this 2000 blazer 4x4 a few days ago and got some new tires and completely rebuilt the steering components. Well this afternoon I wanted to try out the 4wd so I took it through some trails and some mud holes and it did perfect. But when I got done I was pulling on to the main road and put it into 2wd and it starting missing and sputtering bad and wouldn't accelerate and it finally died. I tried restarting it for a few minutes and it finally started and ran like crap but didn't die and slowly got better and then shot a **** ton of sparks out of the exhaust and then drove the 15 mile trip home just fine. So needless to say I have no idea what caused this maybe water but it needs to be fixed before I go offroad next hunting season. PLEASE HELP Thanks Ryan

 

Did the check engine light come on? If not, check fuel pressure and leakdown first. It's free, fast, and easy.

 

it had a cel on when I bought it I cant remember what the code was off hand but I don't think it was anything severe but I will check again.
