Exclamation 01' blazer ac problem PLEASE HELP !

I have just bought a o1 blazer 4dr v6 the ac work for like a week and went out. my brother in law put more refigerant in it and worked great for like a week. he put more in and now the clutch engages for a couple of seconds and stops. It continues to do that and blows hot air. he checked the fuses and wiring but nothing. I really need some help living in vegas and its killing me driving around. any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you have a leak. Probably best to get it properly diagnosed and repaired. You can check out the Tech Article (DIY) Index link in my signature for some A/C related articles.

x2 go to shop and have A/C tech fix it. A common leak is the low-side port (where you refill the system). You have to replace the drier/accumulator and might as well do the orifice tube at the same time. You can't really fix that yourself unless you have all the tools of an A/C tech... reclaim machine, strong vacuum pump, gauges, etc.. there are no shadetree methods for A/C repairs.
