Just bought a 01 blazer, tends to shut off ( no rev / spinning , engine turns off, power steering goes out) upon acceleration from slow or stop, the battery light turns on, have to park and restart) sometimes if i floor it when it starts to die, that causes it to start up again.. very odd. mechanics at dealer cant find anything wrong with it, (their machine doesnt say anything, and im guessing they are too lazy to actually spend time looking at it, since this is free of charge because the car was purchased 2 weeks before bringing in for service)
Would like to direct them as to what to look at as possible cause, the said the Mass air flow sensor may have had bad codes, but they suppsedly corrected that as well.

I have a list for them, and i may take it to another place for free inspection,
My list is as follows;
Inspect Transmission
A/C not blowing cold
Inspect battery, electrical,and alternator
Check cylinders, wires, cap and rotor
The engine make a loud, flat sound like the trans is slipping maybe , barely moves, then several feet later dies. have to park, turn off, restart, and sometimes then it works, others it dies ten feet later. it seems like it is struggling to get moving and sometimes fails and turns off? when it shuts off, the gas pedal causes no response , unless im still moving then if i floor it, sometimes, it causes the car to turn back on again... This is why i thought it might be the alternator
