Gonna need a little more info than that my friend... The smog pump, or air pump, is to help with pollution control. Not sure exactly what it does, but i think it pumps air into your exhaust stream to help the catalysts burn off more crap.

What you need to do, is hit up an autozone and get your engine codes read. Then come tell us what they are and we can help better.

ok well i have a obd2 code reader i have the $200 advanced code reader from Napa and i keep getting 02 sensor codes, mas air flow, p0300 random mult misfire, i cleaned out my resonator because i thought this was the problem i had a cleaned out catalytic converter on it but recently replaced with brand new, replaced sending unit, fuel pump, did an intake manifold gasket a while back, replaced the fuel injection and replaced all my gas line that was needed repair. i do think there is a computer issue or a burned exhaust value issue or maybe head gasket is burned

Well.. since we're in the lounge I can parcel out advice in the spirit of happy hour without being accused of being a dick, right?

When you;re ready to solve your problems post them in the appropriate subforum and tell us what the codes are, not what you think they mean. Just as you should never let someone at autozone tell you what THEY think they mean.
Codes do not tell you what's wrong, they tell you what the computer sees that's wrong. they do not 'diagnose' the problems. It's still up to people.

Here's a start. Unplug the MAF connector and see if it runs better, that way.

Blazers really are "Pretty Outstandingly Solid" if properly maintained. The term "POS" is the direct result of a lack of proper maintenance, and properly repairing the vehicle when necessary.

ok first thing is first we need a little clarification in this posting. first and foremost the term P.O.S. in my book does not mean piece of s@#t. Captain Hook and Tripple Black Blazer are spot on as to what the paraphrased POS means to me. secondly I AM NOT A DUMB *** HERE I DO NOT ASK SOME DUMB FUC# AT ADVANCED AUTO OR AUTOZONE WHATS WRONG there total dumbasses id rather ask my uncle he has over 30 years experience with his own garage in cortland but my family relationship has gone down the drain so i dont talk to that side of my family no more. thats y i have this positng up and im sorry if it is not in the right catagory i am new and just dont know how to post right yet. ok last but not least i do understand that the obd2 reader only reads the computer i know its all up to human error and judgement so i will try what yall have said and let yall know. TO THOSE I MAY HAVE OFFENDED I AM SORRY i love my blazer the stock suspension setup sux but its cool for crawling around where nobody else dares im one dumb *** for going where i have gone with it but i have fun but my 4wd broke doin it but its all good.
