Runs great!just won't start after sitting a couple of minutes or over night on the first crank.30 seconds or 2 minutes won't start till the second try.My customer has been driving it this way for 6 months. He cranks it for a second and stops then tries again and it fires right up.I'm a former GM tech and have had my own shop since 1992 and I'm baffled.Have fuel pressure and spark when it won't start on 1st try.Stop cranking and try 2nd time and fires up everytime! any thoughts?? Thanx Ford1

Had a '95 blazer that would start on the second crank. It was carbon in the EGR valve, holding the pintle open and caused a vacuum leak. By cranking a little, then a second crank; extra fuel was injected (something to do with a start condition) and it would fire right up.
Cleaned the EGR valve and it would start on the first crank.
Eventually sold the Blazer (150,000 miles) as the EGR would stick open again after a few weeks.
Hope this helps.
PS I have a '39 Ford that starts better than I do on a cold morning.
