Question 01 using fuel like crazy

I have an 01 blazer 2 door 2wheel drive, just installed a new fuel pump and filter, and my fuel mileage has gotten terrible. I've checked and rechecked for leaks, there are no fuel leaks anywhere.has anyone ever ran into this problem? I would appreciate any advice or opinions!! Thanks

What about any misfires, rough idle, stumbling, surging anything like that? Any change at all in the way the engine runs could help to pinpoint the problem.

Have you checked inside the intake for fuel leaks?
A leak from the fuel pressure regulator inside the intake is common on these trucks. Or it could be something else entirely and the fuel pump change could be a coincidence.

It might be the computer making it run rich....Try unhooking your battery for a couple minutes...Then plug it back in...That might be your problem

I would start with a pressure test.

What brand of filter and pump did you install? Aftermarket pumps are hit or miss. I don't even bother with them.

How does the truck run?

What is your fuel mileage actually? How was it prior to the changes? Why did you change these parts?
