Wife drove a couple miles, parked in a lot, came out, started it as normal. When she drives away it's in 4lo, won't come out regardless of button fiddling.
Bright ideas, where to start?
Hmpf, digging around a little as a result of seeing the most excellent diagram of the vacuum lines near the booster. discovered that the main vacuum line where it comes off the intake manifold was broken. Bet that's the source of the 4WD problem, rough idle noticed lately and the Evap Emissions code constantly setting. Oh yeah, and the recent difficulties with the heater/defroster. What a silly goose I am.
Thanks guys.

u can unplug the TCCM box located in the passanger kick panel in the mean time, it should put the truck back into 2 wheel drive HI.
