01 ZR2 struggles to accelerate
Was debating whether or not to post this since I have an appointment to take it in in the morning but I figured maybe some of you would like to take a stab at troubleshooting it and maybe itll help someone down the road.
I have an 01 ZR2 blazer and today after I got off the highway I noticed a bad powerloss when trying to accelerate. It will hold speed when it gets there but getting there it struggles. And its not all the time, its intermittent for the most part. Its done this before, last time it was just a loose spark plug wire. It has a new distributor (yes, whole distributor done by mechanic, not just cap and rotor- old dist was bad), new plugs and new wires. So im not sure what it would be. I disconnected the MAF to see if that was it since ive had P0101 constantly on but unplugging it didnt change anything. Im hoping it something simple but im not sure. Its not a trans issue cause it still did it when in 1 and 3 and the trans is a new GM reman done this spring. Luckily my uncle is the mechanic at the shop so i wont get charged up the butt. Feel free to chime in on what you think it might be.
oh- truck has 170,000 miles on her

First thing to check is the fuel delivery system. This link explains the proper way to do a complete test: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...eakdown-88305/ When you have all 4 readings, the system can be correctly & accurately diagnosed.

Possible, but it didnt do it until the end of a full tank and a 4hr highway trip, and it wasnt till the day after the trip. Im not doing any fuel checks because i dont have a gauge and its going in the shop in the morning.

New fuel pump in and she runs good. Now my next issue-needs a new filler neck. Old one is rusted out and now leaks real bad when filling up. I ordered one today and did one day shipping but wont be able to work on it until monday evening. Had plans to go up north but thats gonna be pushed back a day now.
