Default 02 2DR 2WD Fuel Pump Retainer

Hey guys,
Just picked up an ’02 2-door Blazer that’s been sitting in a yard for about 6 years. I’ve verified low fuel pressure which might be causing my p0300 (~50 psi) both IG ON and while running.
I’m planning to start with a Delphi unit, but had a question on the retainer/lock ring. Coming from the Toyota world, I typically replace the lock ring anytime I do a pump, but I’m seeing two different styles on RockAuto:
• Snap ring
• Spin-on style
It’s not super clear which applies to this setup?
Is it worth replacing the ring, or are they usually fine to reuse if not damaged?
Appreciate the help.

If you drive where there is no salt used, you should be able to reuse the ring.

When I want to confirm part fitment, I'll use one of the online GM parts dealers that allows you to input your VIN. Then you can search for the part in question and get the part number for your vehicle. This works if they have it in stock or not. And then with the part number, you can use it to cross reference with the ones you see at places like Rock Auto.

On my 99 4dr 4wd, my pump was retained by a spin-on lock-ring.
