Default 02 blazer, HVAC vacuum lines

I had AT fluid in my hvac vacuum lines. I replaced the transfer case vacuum switch.
Can anyone provide instructions on how to flush out the hvac vacuum lines? Should I replace actuators and hvac control?

wth71,
I had a problem with a customers a few years ago.
If you unplug the vacuum line at the switch you just replaced
and follow the main vacuum line to the engine and blow air
into that line it should clear most of it out.

Another way you can do it is remove vacuum hose from
vacuum actuator only, start vehicle and put it in 4 wheel drive.
The switch will switch the main vacuum to that hose and
pull the small amount of tranny fluid in the line and the engine
will just burn it off.It might smoke a little white smoke, but it will
clear up.

I don't know if you can get at the vacuum actuator under the
battery with out removing battery and tray?

Default HVAC vac lines

The problem I'm having is with the hvac... Air blowing from all vents, especially when engine is under load. I'm looking for guidance on flushing out at fluid from the hvac vac lines in hopes of improving the hvac function.

Get under the dash &/or take it apart a bit, remove the vaccuum line attached to the hvac. Remove the same vaccuum hose that comes back into the engine compartment on the DS above the fender well by the brake booster & blow air from the cabin to the engine compartment. Have some rags tied around it, a friend with rags holding etc. Other than that you're probably replacing that hose.

Just my thoughts seeing as my vaccuum line going to the cabin controls is weathered & I know I have to replace it in the near future.

<edit> more thoughts: "The problem I'm having is with the hvac... Air blowing from all vents" <--- that says the switch to me or a vaccuum leak. The vaccuum switch that moves the panels/vents - I'm thinking it wouldn't be too happy with ATF in it, you might just have to replace that switch or clean it. You think you can possibly take it out & see if the ATF might be messing it up?... That along with blowing out the line.
Maybe just a good brake cleaner blast will clean it out & then blast the line as well.
