Default 02 blazer timing issue

I have a problem with the infamous p0300 random miss code. I have already done a full tune up, the fuel injector spider assembly, fuel pump, lower intake manifold gaskets. Now my converter has broken up im sure due to the p0300. I do notice a slight miss at idle but is smooth off idle. I have gone through everything and the only thing I am seeing that's off is my timing when check with timing light. I have pulled the distributor to ensure it is aligned correctly and that looks good. I know these are non adjustable timing, I have even tried grinding the hold down to turn the distributor and mark doesn't move at all. Anyone have a clue of why the timing might be out by means of using a timing light?
