Default 03 Blazer driver door and back gate won't lock.

Kind of a strange symptom. Bear with me while I explain. Upon exiting the vehicle I use my key fob to lock my doors and gate. I do this a lot because of my job and the area I work. Even though I lock my vehicle every time I still go for the handle or gate button sometimes without using the fob. That is how I realized that the driver door and the gate/glass do not lock with the key fob. I'll open the door without pressing the fob and HONK, HONK, HONK. Door opens and alarm goes off. Also, if I try to use the auto lock button in the vehicle, the passenger side locks but the driver door does not. Weird thing is, if I manually lock the driver door the key fob unlocks the door. Anyone ever experience this issue? Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys, Samuel-

i recently noticed my 98 does the same thing when im driving. talking about the pass. door locking and the driver not. the only thing that i can figure is maybe its a safety thing...i dont know.
if the driver door is not locked, the rear glass is not locked either. you can unlock the driver door with the key and the rear glass should be accessible.
