Default 03 Blazer hesitation issue

Hello, great forum here! I have spent a while browsing around and there is some great information to be found!!

I have searched the forum for this issue I am having on my Blazer but didnt come up with anything that has similar symptoms. Basically when the truck is just started it doesnt want to move, I put the hammer down and it seems like it wants to die then all of a sudden it will take off like a bat outta hell (Which it should since the i've got 'er to the mat). It only happens when the truck is cold (not physically cold, but hasnt been running) once it warms up it is fine but gets awful gas mileage. Once I went to pass someone on the highway and it did it then, but hasnt since. It is a 4.3l 4x4 LS 4door, 160000km.

Where should I start? Tried injector cleaner, premuim gas, new plugs.

Also I knwo this really doesnt belong here but can I run 30" tires without a lift, I have measured and think they will fit. and...where in canada is the best place to by a rear lift since I plan on doing the tbar crank and would like to balance it out a bit...

Thanks in advance.

Has the SES light been on? If so, did you have the codes read? I can think of several things that might be wrong, the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF), the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT), clogged fuel filter, failing fuel pump, etc.

If you have the actual code number please post it. I doubt that a loose gas cap will cause the symptoms you mentioned. It normally is just an emission systems code.
