Hey guys. So about 15 minutes ago I pulled my 05 tb, 6 cylinder, 4w into the driveway and went to put the car in park. The lite on my dash is telling me that the car is in neutral. I can not move the shifter forward or back, and I can not seem to get the button to fully engage. The car starts, and I can remove the key from ignition. But I can not shift out of whatever the car is currently in. The shifter seems to be in what would be the park setting, but the dash is telling me neutral. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have never had any problems like this before. Also, the break pedal was not going down to the floor, but would seem to offer heavy resistance. Thanks again guys.
Happy green beer day
