Does the transmission seem to be slipping any? That's what I would expect with a bad TC. But I'm not a trans expert by any means

nope doesn't slip at all might just be the converter not unlocking and locking up right, i know it only take like 1400 rpm to spin the tires like power braking to load up the motor to take off 0-60 mph seems a low rpm to be spin the tires with very little gas getting up to 1400rpm. it shifts quick and doesn't slip between gears shifts instantly into the next gear. i would think the converter would slip more than that at 1400 rpm i seen a lot of other blazers slip up to 1800-2000 rpm before spinning the tires

There's an upgrade for (TCC Regulator & Isolator Valve Kit)

Just guessing here, will reman a 4L60 when I finally get it on my bench. Sonnax has a nifty symptoms descriptions and the parts that deal with them - see the menu on the left side:

What were the fuel pressure numbers, and did it leak down any?
so when the scanner shows -20 in timing advance section does this -20 mean it is retarded -20 or advanced 20 degrees lol i don't know much about timing and I thought - would be it is being retarded and a positive number would be advancing timing

Negative is advanced. It's measured in degrees before top dead center (BTDC), which is when the piston is at the top of its stroke, on the power stroke. So, the more negative the number, the farther before top dead center it will fire. A positive number is retarded, it's how many degrees after top dead center it spark plug will fire

ok now i know. yeah i don't know about this struggling issue sometimes guess i'll have to deal with it forever or something i replaced rotor and cap, wire, plugs, fuel pump (because old one was on its last legs but still didn't change how it ran when new pump was put in), fuel filter, fuel pump sending unit (old one rusted fittings and broke), air filter, o2 sensor and map sensor. only things left to replace is crank position sensor and the distributor itself, ignition coil and ignition control module on the ignition coil bracket. and fuel injector itself. reason why i thought it might have been a timing issue is because sometimes when i pass someone it has a slow acceleration at first then all of a sudden tons of power kicks in and revs fast in rpm like it should and this same thing happens like i said before about going up a mountain around sharp curves it does the same thing slowly accelerate in rpm then all of a sudden all the power kicks in

I dunno man, being that it's intermittent, it's gonna be hard to diagnose. Maybe view the live data while driving, and see what's different when it's running good, vs not?
