On my Blazer the front doors close fine but not tight. When traveling at a high speed over 50 Mph you can hear wind coming in, it isnt the weather stripping. The door panels on my blazer are all loose and rattle when going over bumps, was just wondering if somebody could put me in the right direction to go about fixing it.

I have merged your two threads concerning the doors since it will be easier for folks to address both problems.

I have had to adjust the upper window frame on a few vehicles before due to wind noise. It takes some practice to get it right. You roll the window down, then push on the door while you pull on the window frame.

Another cause is worn door hinge pins. When you close your door, do you see it lift up as it latches? If so, then your pins are worn and the weather stripping will not seal up properly.

As far as the rattle goes, run a search as there are some good threads discussing this problem and possible solutions for you to try.

Pop a door panel off... See those white plastic inserts that hold the panel on? Figure out how many you need and go buy them at your local auto parts store. I found them at Auto-Zone in the fastener section. All new fasteners should keep your door panels from rattling. Also, before you re-install the panels... try duct taping some thick plastic sheeting over all of the open spots to keep the wind noise to a minimum. Sounds to me like someone may have been in there before and neglected to re-install the factory plastic sheets.
