NEED HELP!! every couple days my 95' 4-door blazercranks over fine,but wont start. if i spray carb cleaner inthe intakeshe takes right off, runs good. checked fuel pressure with key on about 60, goes up a hair while cranking, and if i start it with carb cleaner drops to 50-58 while running.
7out of 10 times it starts and runs fine, noservice light on.
dont know why the carb cleaner gets it to start?? any ideas whats wrong?

 

did you check for good spark and when was the last time you changed the fuel filter??

 

i assumed the spark was fine, and i have not changed the filter.might be aneasy and cheap place to start.

 

I had virtually the same issue. 95 Blazer/130K. Replaced the fuel filter (Old one looked like it could have been the original) added some injector cleaner to the gas tank drove it on the highway for a while then let it idle for a couple of hours. It seems to be starting fine now...we'll see.

 

I also have the same vehicle as you. I have had the same problems as you. Can you smell gas when it is running? Are you getting bad mpg? If so I think it is your fuel pressure regutator. That iswhat mine was doing. There is a how to post on how to change it.
