Default 1995 Blend Door Actuator and Vacuum for HVAC

Hi all
I have been having some problems figuring out what parts I need for rebuilding my HVAC blend doors. Its a 1995 Chevy Blazer 4.3l 4x4 4 door LT with a C60 code in the glove box. I have the dash out and I want to replace ALL of the blend doors. I can find the electric one on RockAuto but I am unsure which one to get as for the C60 code means mine should be a 4 pin and my blend door actuator I just took off is a 6 pin. I have 3 vacuum actuators for other blend doors, one is for the defrost, the other is for on the floor and the other is for fresh air, as far as I can tell they are all discontinued and are no longer available. I have spent several hours now looking and I give up, I hope someone here will be my lifesaver. I am rebuilding the entire HVAC system but these parts got me stumped.

I thought about replacing the vacuum diaphragms on mine too when I was fixing my own auto temp controls, but none could be found - no new ones that is.The only place I found that actually listed the parts as being available was in Italy! And they never responded to my inquiry. Didn't matter though, because all of mine turned out to work just fine once all the REAL issues were fixed. Are you sure yours are bad?

Hi There
Yes, mine was defiantly bad as I was lucky enough to have a second blazer that I removed the entire dash in the bush all for that vacuum diaphragm. Once I got it out and I knew I had replaced that diaphragm back in 2010 I put a vacuum gauge on it and tested it and it would hold the vacuum in both directions. BUT that wasn't all my problems, the selector switch,-heater controls were bad and would not hold vacuum to the correct ports, I think bi-level was the only one working. After I got the air moving through the vents as it should and I had full refrigerant through the system with odd reading on my cooling gauges I later discovered the inline filter in the accumulator was plug solid with about a quart of green leak check die that mechanics had pumped into the system over the years. That's where I am at right now on my Blazer it's still down I just need to change the accumulator out.

I didn't think dye could do that. I wonder if someone put sealer into it at some point.

I should have recorded it, when I pulled the little white filter out I was shocked by the amount that come running out. The accumulator may not be plugged solid but since I have gone this far with my blazer I figured I should just change it and take no chance, it might have been fine once I drained out all the die. Yup could be the sealer too..

The accumulator needs to be replaced anyhow since you opened up the system because it contains the desiccant
that keeps the moisture out of the oil making compressor killing acid.

No problem but my comment still stands. Replace the orifice tube and accumulator along with the evap core. Carry on soldier.

yup I replace the accumulator every time the system is opened up. It's so easy to replace and is only 20 so no reason not to.
