1996 chevy blazer 4.3
I have had this chirpping noise coming from my engine ever since I decided to clean it.First I checked the belt. The belt is a gator back belt, belt tensioner is new so is the waterpump and the alternator is fairly new.The idle pulley is new too only thing i can think of is dirt or something riding on my pullys please help pretty much lost in finding the cause. thanks
A chirping noise is common to be heard after cleaning. It is likely coming from your AC compressor clutch more then anything. The noise generally dissipates after a while of running and cycling the air conditioning.
It is generally not something to worry about unless it gets worse after a period of time rather then going away.
