I have a 1997 S-10 Blazer LS 2wd 4dr that the fuel useage is getting really out of hand . Im getting
roughly 180 + or - Miles per tank of fuel . Ive changed filters , plugs & wires ,Air filter and nothing i
do seems to help. If I cant get this fixed soon my wife is going to make me sleep outside in the blazer.
I NEED HELP !!!!!!!

YA THAT WOULD PROBABLY MAKE MY WIFE REAL HAPPY. I KNOW SHE REALLY LIKES THE BLAZER , PLUS ITS PAID FOR AND I'M NOT QUITE READY TO START HAVING A CAR PAYMENT AGAIN .

When was the rad and heater core replaced (from this post)? The two may be related. What does your temp gauge read? An engine that isn't getting up to operating temperature will automatically dump more fuel into the mix to account for the cold and mileage will suffer greatly.
And please, again with the caps. Makes it seem like you're yelling at us and no one likes getting yelled at.

Another thing I would suggest is checking out the catylitic converter and also the o2 sensor's those seem to impact fuel economy as well!!
