Default 1997 Blazer, hesitation while accellerating

I have a 1997 Chevy Blazer, 4.3 l v6.
This does not happen all the time, but enough to be noticeable.
When I accelerate, the vehicle will seem to hesitate, in small bursts.
Thought it was the plugs, replaced them, still happens.
Does not happen all the time.
Any ideas of what it might be?

If you do not know when the last time a complete tune up was done, I would suggest finishing the job. Plugs are only one thing. The wires, cap, and rotor need to be at least inspected. The cap and rotor can be visually inspected while the wires need some persuasion to show you if they are bad or not. By persuasion, I mean a lite mist of water over them. It helps to do this in a very dark place with the lights off and engine running. Mist down the wires looking for arcs of electricity jumping from the wires to the engine or surrounding grounded metal. The water aids the transfer. Good wires should result in no spark leakage.
