1997 Blazer Running on 2 good cylinders (Help!)
To begin with, I just want to put it out there that I took my Blazer to a reputable mechanic to be inspected and have it's brakes worked on. What turned out to be a $1000+ job led to more problems than what it had before.
Now for the issue:
I had a Service Engine Soon light come on ever since I purchased the vehicle. When I got it serviced (As mentioned above), I had them pull up the codes for the vehicle. What they told me kind of surprised me. Cylinders 1,2,4,6 were misfiring.
I need some advice on what to look at when approaching this issue. I am already purchasing new spark plugs tomorrow, but just the fact that cylinders 2,4,6 are on the same bank worries me.
Any help is appreciated!!

Before you throw $$$ at it=look the whole thing over, kind of like you should have before you bought it-Don't get me wrong, these units can cost more to fix than they are worth at the retail level! Start with electrics and then the usual fuel test and the commpresion check-It might surprise you! Either a great deal... or a good parts unit!
