Problem FIXED!!!!!! Thank God!!!! It was NOT the key switch, the transmission, or anything to do with fuel delivery!!

About a couple of weeks ago i decided to start upgrading some stuff. I upgraded suspension components with polyurethane stuff. The i got the idea to go ahead with the ignition system see what that does with the problem. (Obviously i knew that the new suspension stuff wouldn't fix the problem, but it was employee 30% discount weekend at the time so i said what the heck) I order a MSD Blaster coil from work. Got it in a couple of days and drilled the stupid rivets out and put the new coil in and the truck seems to run better and smoother, it seems to be a bit more powerfull. and the jerking HAS NOT been back. Whew, i was ready to sell it over something so small.

It is a complete replacement for the old one. it has two mounting holes at the bottom and it uses the trucks wire harness. so basically take yours out and drill the rivets out and put the new screws in to hold the new coil in. it sits just like the old one and looks like it almost but its red. i don't know the part number right off cause all the paper work and reciepts have been thrown away. go to autozone and tell them you want a performance ignition coil for your year make and model. and if they can't come up with anything tell them to type in perf ign coil. (trust me i work at an autozone and ordered my coil from a different autozone than the one i work at and she didn't come up with anything till i told her to type that in.) the computer will look at it and bring up two different ones, one by accel wich is higher and one by MSD.
