Hi I'm Matthew, and I am from Indiana. I bought my Blazer off a buddy of mine. It has nice leather interior and very little cosmetic damage inside, but one major glaring flaw is driving me nuts. Before I bought it he went to lean the seat back and when it was leaning it wouldn't stop. So the drivers side seat is leaned all the way back against the back seat and I have to use boxes and a pillow to drive. I have not found anyone that knows how to fix this type of problem. Does anyone here have any ideas?

I'm assuming the 99's have power seats that control the angle of the back of the seat....look at the switch. most of these motors in power seats work by reversing polarity, so positive on one and negative on the other will move it one way, if you switch the positive and negatives then it will move the other way....if you can't find a switch to replace it with, then take a car battery and unplug the connector from the motor and hook leads up to it but make sure you don't let them touch each other. When the motor reachs the end of its movement one way it will make a small spark but thats normal, so if it sparks, try switch the wires. hope I helped, my 97 bravada has one of those cheap handles to adjust the back of the seat.

I have absolutely no idea what the motor assembly looks like for the back of the seat..... you'd have to take the seat out to take pictures of it. should be 4 bolts on the floor, I think the nuts are 15mm.

Yes they sure are 15mm. The hard part was the bolt on the inside rear that takes a T-45 star bit to get out. I had to go buy me a new set of sockets for that sucker..
I didnt get around to getting pics up today, but I will do my best to get them on here tomorrow.
