1999 blazer 2wd engine in a 4wd???

The number you listed is actually the intake manifold casting number not the block number.

where is the block number
is it the number right in front of the passenger side motor mount

i have had it in and test fit and it was too deep for the mm and the front diff, but i think that may have been due to the oil pan being for a 2wd, i have the pan replaced with the 4wd pan and havent put it back in yet, just trying to cover the bases before i put it in and have to pull it back out AGAIN
I said before, the oil pan from a 2wd is different from a 4x4. They are different becasue the 2wd one would hit the front diff.

it fits, just a problem of getting it lined up to the transmission...:'( hard to move 400lbs by yourself

ok, now i have to figure out where the 2 heater core lines go to...

one goes on the intake, I forget where the other one goes. Water pump?

pics would help. heres what i have, im thinking that the lower rusty one is for the hose... not sure what the upper one is, next to the egr valve. im lost... oh and by the way, this is my first time re-installing an engine.

The lower rusty hose connection is the water pump and that goes to the heater core. The one on the intake next to the EGR I think is the return from the heater core. I will have to double check with that one to make sure.
