1999 Blazer cranks, but won't start

Sounds like it is slightly out of time.

same problem with 99
I have the exact same cold starting issue did you get this resolved at the dealer and what was the problem??

I ended up taking it to the GM Dealer and of course it started 2 days in a row with no problems in the extreme cold (single/sub-zero temperatures). So they checked a bunch of stuff and said it seemed fine and to bring it back if it happened again, of course it happened a week later. We started to notice the trend was if it was cold then got above 40 for more than a whole day and then drastically dropped back below 20 within a day and we didnt start it, it would fail everytime. So we took it back to the dealer and figure that it started everytime, they checked and the only thing they told me was wrong was a suspension issue (because they gotta get money somehow). So my final solution was to trade it in to the local dealership for a minivan (we're working on a second child and minivans are quiet convienent with little ones), and we never looked back. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to the final solution, and if you truly enjoy your Blazer then try to find the problem, but if its just a vehicle you bought in your price range then maybe my solution (just get rid of it) is your solution as well. Thanks to everyone for your help, but after the issues I had with that truck I doubt I'll ever own another 4.3L GM, so probably won't ever be back on here.
