Default 1999 Blazer Pre Converter

Anyone have a part number for the pre converter? Can't see to find the correct one, the one on my truck looks different than what I see online.

Thanks

A pre-converter is a small catalytic converter located close to the engine. It is used on 1999 through 2005 S&T body with the 4.3L. It became necessary in order to conform with stricter EPA emission control requirements starting in 1999. Walker Exhaust part #50542.

Do you know the part number for just the converter and not the entire system?

The substrate inside the pre cat is different from the downstream cat, so a universal might not last too long. Some converter manufacturers eliminate the pre cat and use a downstream cat with a higher capacity/rating. Most all of the aftermarket manufacturers sell it as a one piece unit with the "Y" pipe. A few have it available in a two piece unit, which makes installation much easier.

Yeah it doesn't look like a piece that could easily be replaced on its own. No straight pipe length to be able to couple it back into the system. The "Y" is welded directly to it and there is a bend directly after it. i have a CAT code on my 02 not post converter. Hoping it is just the sensor went bad after the P0300 code and Spider and fuel pump replacement I just did.
