Just picked up the car, and it seems to be running fine. I was talking to the parts guy about the sagging drivers side door and he handed me a couple of hinge pin replacement kits. I asked how much, and he said that I had spent more than enough already and to take them free. Wow, nice. They also service alot of the hot rods in the area and I have "inherited" my dad's 56 Belaire when he passed a few years ago. It has a 4 speed now, but I want to change it to an auto. He said when the time comes, let him know and he will help me out to get all the right parts and make sure the drive shaft is the correct one for the car. Sure, he will get the money, but he also took the time to make sure I knew they would be happy to help out. To me, I appreciated that.
OK, thanks for now guys, and I will try and stop in and say hey.

Oh, and the bill came to 630.00 with 300 of it in labor charges. The total on parts was about 250 at their price, so I am sure it would have cost me more in parts than they charged me. So, for 300.00 in labor charge it was worth it to have them do it.
Again, thanks.
Again, thanks.
