Default 1999 blazer weird starting trouble sometimes

Ok so, first start and drive of the day is fine, stop at the store for 10 minutes starts and drives fine. After about 45-1 hr of driving, any very short stop for anything it wont start. Engine shakes very hard turning over. I let it rest for maybe half hour and it starts. It's getting spark. New cap and rotor. New coil pack. Idk. I thought it might have been the fuel filter being clogged but it drives when started. There is alot of lag. It has no "get up". It's a pretty slow truck. Any ideas? I also have a blow-starter (duii) but I don't think that would be it. Thanks

Have you checked for any pending codes? Start there, then if all is well check fuel pump relay....switch it out with a/c one if it's same number. Best time of course would be when it doesn't want to restart.

I didn't check for codes. Switched the relays and nothing

So the next step is to check for codes while it runs and fuel pressure (at the time it's not starting) hoping there is a test pressure port. Just to be sure problem is fuel related since you said you have spark. BTW did you actually check for spark? Or did you just assume you do after changing out the coil, cap, and rotor? Have you pulled out 1 or 2 plugs just to see if they look OK or if they're wet, etc?

I only unplugged one sparkplug and the wire had spark (the sparkplug end). I have spark coming out of the coil, and into the distributor. I do have a fuel pressure port. I'll check pressure and codes in a couple days and post back up. Thank you

So to understand you correctly, you checked for spark at the time you couldn't start the truck right? I can't wait to see what turns up from those checks.... It must be something simple from the symptoms. I'll keep checking in to view your updates

Yea it had spark when it couldn't start. I will try to get a computer on there tomorow for the codes, if not Wednesday for sure. I really hope it is something simple. I don't have too much money and my blazer is my good vehicle
