Okay so i drove my truck about 150 miles yesterday fine no problems, stopped at a gas station when i got back into town. When i went out and tried to start it i got no reaction. nothing from the starter and no crank. there gas in it, the electrical systems seems to turn on fine. the check engine light is on after a min and the battery but checked the battery and it isnt that, had to tow it home and taking it to a mechanic today, any ideas that could help me out would be great.

 

I'll go with dead cell in the battery or bad connection between the battery and starter.

Hello, My buddies car did the same thing, I had to go pick him up and while i was there I took a look. The shifter was'nt in Park! True story, I would check the Neutral safety switch. Good luck!
