Default 6.2 ATS turbo kit details?

i bought a 85 blazer 6.2 diesel K5... its got the ATS turbo system but i have no idea what there rated at or how much they were new or anything about them... boost? anything would be alot of help! thanks!

last year when i was looking to get one for my 'Burb, it was just over $2800, to my door.

and that's when our dollar was slightly above yours.


@ the OP. what kit is it?

sooo...........is that your CD page.........or the previous owner? or the guy who installed the system originally (3 owners ago).


doesn't really matter (nice pic's btw) but there has to be a plate with a model # or service # on it somewhere. take that #, call ATS, and see what they have to say.

naw its not mine... i just found that when i was googling looking for pics for you... i got a 85 blazer with it... civi model... but i bought it for the motor and tranny... its already gotten stripped pretty well... parting the rest out...

i didnt see any numbers or plates but when its out ill look again...

Sorry man... ditched the project t and sold out... started a new one lol... sold the motor and pulled it when he was on his way... didn't look at it much... wish I could be more help!

6.2s are hit and miss for problems. There an ok motor. Get great milage when they are running well. I got 21 mpg average from Seattle to Cali and back and that was with a heavy foot up the passes and such. Glow plugs on these are troublesome, direct drive starters (early years) sometimes don't like to live long. Injector pumps go out commonly my twin turbo 6.2 is sitting down from a broken IP. Most likely going to huck it for a detroit.
