I am broke down in gainsville fl i was on my way home to Maryville tn. I dont have the money for tow truck or a mechanic. It has been squealing but it would stop when you hit the gas i narrowed it down to the throttle body gasket then all of a sudden it started dieing when idleing. And there is a hose hanging under it possibly goes to transfer case or overflow. I am a female and honestly scared. I am a little mechanically inclinded if anyone can tell me if the hose is whats wrong and where it goes i would greatly appreciate it.

 

Have you checked the vacuum hoses for them being detached? Was the squealing possibly something rubbing against the serpentine belt?
