2000 4.3l won't start
have a 2000 4.3l blazer that won't start, just cranks over. Checked fuel pressure, getting 62psi. after 20 minutes, still holding within a couple of lbs. I can use starter fluid at intake, and will start right up, and continue to run as long as i keep giving it a shot of fluid, when i stop, engine dies. any suggestions to check next? Not getting any codes.

You could try testing for power on the pink wires at the maxi connector to the fuel injection spider. If you do not have power there, check ECM-1 fuse which is what is covered by the one link Rotti posted.
By stating that it runs on starter fluid, you have basically narrowed it down to a fuel delivery problem, specifically a lack of fuel.

I appreciate the guideance you both have been giving me. I had checked the ecm1 fuse previously, but also verified power on the pink wires you noted, all 6 had 12 volts on them. So does having power on the pink wires, means the ejectors should be working? What would not allow the fuel thru the spider? could a regulator cause that issue? Looks like i am to the point of pulling the intake cover. Further suggestions? thanks

Having power to the injectors is only part of the equation. The injectors are powered whenever the ignition is on and the PCM grounds each injector at the appropriate time for the intake event. If there is something triggering the PCM to inhibit injector pulse, you won't get fuel into the combustion chamber. A noid light plugged into the maxi connector location would determine whether you are getting the ground pulse or not.

found a noid light. I am getting the ground pulses at the connector. What would not allow the fuel thru the spider? could a regulator cause that issue? Looks like i am to the point of pulling the intake cover. Possibley plugged injectors? Further suggestions? thanks

Was ready to pull the intake and go after checking the injectors. A mechanic friend, suggested i try to unplug the mass air flow sensor, he said the computer would go back to default setting, being unplugged. The car then started right up and ran smooth. I cleaned the mass airflow sensor and it now runs without any miss or hesitation
