I've been to 3 different mechanics and no one is able to help me with issue I am having. My Brakes decide to lock-up whenever the car is going at about 5-10 mph when my foot is not on the gas the brakes lock up and I hear what seams to be a grinding sound in the front end. The only way to stop it is get on the gas. The ABS light goes on and off randomly but i'm not sure if my problem has anything to do with it. It usually happens when the car has been sitting out all night and I back out the driveway put it in drive and cruise up to the stop sign thats 15-20 yrds away it happens right before the stop sign so its really starting to bother me. I've let the mecanics drive the car and it never happens when they try. If anyone has any suggestions to what it could be please help me. Thanks

I'm no expert on ABS,but it sounds like a faulty wheel sensor. When my 97 had the same issue thats what it was, pull your wheels and have a look for chafed or broken sensor wires then pull the rotor and inspect for a contaminated reluctor(? not sure of the correct term) Search this site or have the unit plugged in after sitting all night at the mechanics...
