2000 blazer 4.3 charging problems

Lifetime warranty is fine for them: they keep giving you another one until you get lucky and find a good one... Meanwhile, you're stuck holding the bag with having to keep changing them. Don't trust their tester machines, they're worthless. All you need is a voltmeter to check it.

Try napa if you have one around your home. They have more better quality parts compared to autozone.Like captain hook said" Duralast is junk" I`ve had a bad past experience with duralast parts and batteries.Had bought a new duralast battery from auto zone years ago.I had to replace it 5 times before I found a decent battery. But after the fifth time I decided to just get my money back.

You might actually have better luck with a junkyard alternator than Duralast. When I upgraded my alternator I got a used one from Ebay for $50 and it is still working fine. If you were closer to me I would say you could have my stock one because it still works.
