Default 2000 blazer hazard switch ?

hey everyone i have a 2000 blazer 2wd 2 door. the hazard light button in the steering column popped off and i guess the clip that holds it on is broke because it wont stay down so i have tape wraped around it for now to keep them from flashing all the time. so my ? is will i have to replace the whole multi-function switch or can just the button be replaced? thanks for any help

You can try to replace just the switch. It is available from GM. Run a search for Hazard Switch and you should come across the PN as well as the procedure.

There was a recall on that switch. You may be able to get a dealer to fix it for free (if it hasn't already been replaced).
