Default 2000 blazer makes howling noise when driving

noise gets louder when vehicle is slowing down and ends as a click click click when coming to a complete stop. Noise quits if I put it in 4wd. Tried changing cv shaft and wheel bearing. Any other suggestions?

Check the oils in your transfer case, rear end, and front end. Sounds like a bad pinion bearing or in the transfer case. Start by finding out if something is parched and needs lube.

I don't know if these issues are related but now the ABS light comes on each time I start driving it also??? Thank you for the suggestions so far. We'll take a look and check the oils or see if anything needs to be greased.
