2000 Blazer occasionally jerks to right and steering wheel stays left after correctin
I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4X4. Seems like SOMETIMES when I turn right and the go to correct it back to going straight the steering wheel will stay left even when you are going straight. When this first happened it would almost slide like it had a flat tire. Two shops diagnosed it as it "could be" the steering gear box, so the steering gear box and pitman arm were replaced. Two weeks later the transmission went out, so that was rebuilt. This truck only has 126K miles on it.
Now its back to doing the steering issue...anyone have any ideas because the repair shop doesnt. Its intermittent, so its hard for them to duplicate.
It seems to me that it happens more when there is snow on the ground. Not a lot of snow, maybe an inch or two.
Help! I don't want to sink any more money into this and still not have it be right--thanks!
Wanted to add that this is not when its in 4 wheel drive...haven't had enough snow for that yet.
