2000 Blazer squeak coming from rearend
My blazer has been making a sqeaking noise that seems to be coming from the rear end somewhere. I really only notice it when I'm going slower like in a parking lot of something like that and turning either way and sometimes when going over slight bumps. It's pretty quiet but definitely there. Any input on what this could be is much appreciated.

I know this thread is a little old but for the record mine does this too. It has been driving me nuts. It was real obvious when I could have my windows down and not freeze to death
I have tried spraying white lithium grease and wd-40 on my upper shock bushings/bolts. I think it got quiet for about a week and then came back. I sprayed some on my front leaf spring bolts that go through the frame. That didn't do much. I know my rear shackles are original and will need to be replaced soon. Could that be it. Just thought you might like to k ow someone else has this problem. Thanks and sorry for the story

My wife wouldn't know I was home if the Blazer stopped squeaking LOL
Could be the shackle bushings are dried out
Try spraying bushings and the leafs themselves....not with WD40...new/used motor oil (I prefer used) in a spray bottle works best Your spacer pads are prolly shot in the leaf packs

bought two sets yesterday off rock auto. 2 packs of 4 for $12 total is a steal. they were like $8 minimum for a single one on ebay. Should be in probably around saturday i would guess. I can post some pics of the process and even a walkthrough if you guys want.
if you need more info on these things, there is a thread with a detailed walkthrough and info on these for anyone who needs it. i know there isn't a lot of info on them
