Default You Squeak...I Squeak..

I have a 98 Chevy S-10 Blazer that squeaks like it's just tired and old. Seems to be more towards the drivers front side. Every little bump I roll over makes it squeak. Any ideas?

Mine did that then i pumped grease into all the zerk fittings and it stopped. You might want to do the same, you also might need new shocks

These front suspensions usually give symptoms of issues long before it gets to creaking. You may have noticed some erratic play, wandering or rolling at all speeds. A complete front end inspection is in order. Usual culprits:ball joints, upper & lower control arm bushings, hub assemblies etc. You may find more issues such as idler and pitman arm problems,or tie rods:but these in my experience will be silent trouble. Don't despair, complete rebuild kits are available for a reasonable price fron a wide variety of vendors!

If you take it to an alignment shop then they should be able to tell you everything wrong with it. I know where I live at they will do an inspection for free and list out all problems. Then you can decide if you want to do it yourself or if you want them to do it. That's where I would start at.
