Ok thanks for the info. Me and a friend are gonna be doing this in a few days. Looks like a fun design lol. Is there any write ups on how to do it? I'm sure I can figure it out but just wanted to look it over first lol

Key ON, engine OFF pressure is good. Leakdown to 48 - 52 is slightly excessive but will not cause the no start condition. Passlock will allow it to start and then stall almost immediately, so probably not a Passlock issue. Try squirting some carb cleaner in the air inlet and try to start it. If it starts, there's a problem with the injectors not opening. If it doesn't start, we'll need to look a little closer at ignition.

It does start with starting spray when it will not start normally.

The pump might not be pressurizing every time, here's how to test it. In your 2000 underhood fuse panel, there is a pump prime terminal. This terminal bypasses the relay and goes directly to the fuel pump:

Connect the fuel pressure tester to the test port. Connect one end of a fused wire to battery positive. Watch the pressure tester needle closely while touching the other end of the test wire to the terminal in the fuse panel. Make sure the needle shows an increase in pressure immediately when activating the pump. Repeat this several times. Make sure fuel pressure comes up to regulated pressure, (60psi to 66psi) each time. Post your results.

Did the bypass. ok when cranking it goes to 45. pressure is at 50 psi when pump primes.....taking the intake off and seeing what the issue is next.

Perfectly normal. When the EGR valve opens, the entire plenum is filled with exhaust from the steel tube just in front of the injector housing.

Fuel Pump: Do not crank the engine when testing fuel pressure and leakdown. Read post #44 again, it explains how to easily activate the fuel pump. While the pump is activated, (ignition in the OFF position) pressure must be 60psi to 66psi. The pressure must remain above 55psi for at least 10 minutes after the fuel pump is deactivated. Post your results and we'll continue with diagnosis.
