2000 chevy blazer

Default 2000 chevy blazer

i have a 2000 chevy blazer and i thought my bulbs where bad on my driver side tail light but i got new bulbs,check the fuse box and all was ok. the problem im having is my parking light wont come on. when i hit the brakes they come on fine but no parking light comes on. my other one come on but not the driver side. i dont know what to do and what the problem may be. hope someone can help me out. thanx for reading.

I would check the harness at the tail light...it sounds like your switches are working if passenger side is lighting up.

Could be a bad socket or a bad ground wire, both are fairly common problems. Check the ground wires at both left tail lamp sockets. From the ground terminal in the socket, (not where the wire comes out of the socket) must be 5 ohms or less to chassis ground.
