Default 2000 Chevy Blazer

Was driving my DD on the Freeway when with out warning lost all and stalled out. Engine turns but wont start, had to get a tow home. There are no codes that have come up. Fuel pump was replace 2 years ago and fuel pressure is in spec. Any ideas on were to start or what to try.

Check for spark at plug wire and the coil wire at the distributer cap. You can use a inductive timing light.

Sounds like you have no spark. Do you know how old your distributor is?

Check coil wire between coil and distributor cap; make sure its seated; same for connectors into coil.
If all connections good, check for an arc at one of the spark plugs.
If nothing, likely the ignition module has failed. Easy to replace. Some parts store will test.

Good luck.

I tried a different coil no luck. Also tried a different Ignition module and got nothing. I have spark at the plugs. Made sure all wires we seated good. But still just won't turn over. Fuel pressure is at 60psi. So I'm still stumped on this. Still no codes coming up.

The three things that the engine needs is fuel, spark and correct timing. You could pour a small amount of gas directly in the throttle body and try to start. If the vehicle starts and dies you have a fuel delivery issue. Next you would need to verify that the timing chain has not jumped out of time. Read the tech article on 2nd gen timing. On a first gen blazer I would bring number one cylinder to TDC on the compression stroke and check the timing marks on the vibration damper and also make sure that the rotor inside the cap is pointing at the number one plug wire on the distributer cap. A jumped timing chain would cause the symptoms that you have. You could also check crank position sensor to make sure it is not faulty. (The crank position sensor should throw a code)

Check fuses, especially the one(s) for the fuel injection system. If you have spark and air, fuel pressure, then perhaps fuel injection has quit....???

Probably going to need to take the air plenum off and take a look at the injector assembly.
